8- Unexplained loss of weight
Sudden weight loss is often a symptom of several types of cancer, including colon cancer. If you are over 50 and you start losing weight in a sudden way, without any particular reason, this is a worrying sign. This symptom may be related to the colon and/or rectum. A recent report, published in Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, revealed that unexplained weight loss occurs most of the time in an advanced stage of colorectal cancer.
If you notice an unexplained loss of weight without any alterations in your diet, it is highly recommended to consult a Colon Cancer Doctor as soon as possible.
